I love that light hovering off in the dark and that cornflower blue dumpster. the composition has a lot to say… but in reality I was meant to be a cover so that she could take an interesting/sad street scene photo, I guess I was too near
The guy on the dumpster looks like he’s playing the blues on a harmonica. This photo is very surreal to me…the contrast of it; the harsh light of the foreground and the blue in the background, the happiness on Shona’s face vs. the dispair of a man sitting on a dumpster. How did he end up there? What’s the story?

I guess it does look a little sketchy. We were in Rice Village… perfectly safe with our husbands.

Shona’s eye is my favorite part of this. I totally agree with Marcus’ comment.
